Doing Science with Colombia 2019

The Doing Science with Colombia event will raise awareness of the important milestones that the bilateral science and innovation relationship is achieving and consider its future.

What is the ‘Doing Science with Colombia’ event?

The scientific collaboration between Colombia and the UK has grown over the last 5 years to unprecedented levels, particularly due to the work both countries have been doing through the Newton Fund and the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF). The number and quality of joint research projects is testament to this.

In 2017, an event was held called Doing Science with Colombia as a way to raise awareness of the important milestones that the bilateral science and innovation relationship was achieving. This October, the Doing Science with Colombia 2019 event will once again celebrate the achievements of this relationship and consider its future. We will discuss issues such as the current state of the scientific collaboration, the sustainability of research and innovation projects and the future of the bilateral relationship from different perspectives.

Be part of this year’s event and take the opportunity to network with the wide range of organisations that make such a strong collaboration possible.
